On October 3, 2019, the TUSIAD Silicon Valley Network hosted a panel discussion entitled “Succeeding in Sales & Marketing” in San Francisco. Hayal Koc, Sales Executive, Entrepreneur & Advisor at Salesforce, moderated the panel of four speakers: Ediz Ertekin, Senior Vice President of Sales at Hedvig Inc.; Gizem Ozbay, Global Marketing Director of Integrated Marketing at Abbott; Haluk Ulubay, Senior Director, Americas Marketing at Riverbed Technology; and Ozlem Yuksel, Senior Vice President, Customer Success Strategy & Operations at Salesforce.
Aysegul Ildeniz, Chair of the TUSIAD Silicon Valley Network, and Ipek Tunca, Director of Marketing at Facebook opened the event and introduced the panel. The panelists shared their career journeys, discussed industry trends, and offered insights on entering, succeeding, and transitioning in the world of sales and marketing. A networking session followed the panel discussion and Q&A.
The TUSIAD Silicon Valley Network is formed of business professionals on a voluntary basis who have various roles in the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
