Turkey Seeks Political Solution for Syria at Four-way Istanbul Summit

The four-way summit on Syria between Turkey, Russia, Germany and France kicked off in Istanbul on Oct. 27. The summit, hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at Vahdettin Pavilion in the city’s Üsküdar district, includes Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Saudi Arabia Rejects Turkey’s Extradition Request in Khashoggi Killing

Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister on Saturday rejected a call by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey to try the suspects in the killing of the dissident commentator Jamal Khashoggi in that country, saying that the men arrested would be prosecuted on Saudi soil.

 Erdogan Demands that Saudis Tell Turkey Who Ordered Khashoggi Killing

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday that Turkey had uncovered further evidence in the killing of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, pressing Saudi Arabia to reveal who gave the orders and demanding that its leaders explain what happened to Mr. Khashoggi’s body.
