The TÜSİAD New York Network celebrated its second anniversary with a reception in New York on October 21, 2025. The reception is attended by TÜSİAD Chair Orhan Turan and Board Members Perihan İnci, Çağatay Özdoğru, Azmi Gümüşlüoğlu, and Meltem Akol.
Since its establishment, the TÜSİAD New York Network has focused on connecting entrepreneurial and technology ecosystems, unlocking new business and investment opportunities, and advancing Turkey–U.S. relations. The annual event underscored the growing strength of the Network’s community and its vital role over the past two years in advancing dialogue, collaboration, and innovation between Turkey and the United States.
In his opening remarks, TÜSİAD Chair Orhan Turan emphasized the importance of global Turkish talent. According to Turan, “One of the most vital resources we need to stay competitive is the energy, creativity, and passion of our young people, entrepreneurs, and professionals spread across the world.” Turan emphasized that the TÜSİAD New York Network plays a key role in uniting and empowering this community.
Cemil Müjdat Altay, President of the TÜSİAD New York Network, highlighted the wide range of events the Network has organized on topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainable leadership, venture capital, education, art, and investment. Altay noted that the New York Network’s initiatives have further strengthened the bridge between the two countries.
The reception featured a panel discussion titled “Scaling Innovation Globally: Founders at the Intersection of AI and Growth,” moderated by Tendü Yoğurtçu. During the panel session, founders and executives of companies developing artificial intelligence technologies shared their growth journeys. Nevzat Ataklı, CEO of Trio Mobil; Suad Özgün, Partner and Vice President at Insider; and Murat Önen, CEO of Eva, discussed the impact of AI on business models and the opportunities it creates within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
