Turkey says US criticism of leader unacceptable

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has criticized the United States for rebuking the Turkish prime minister over his comments linking Israel to the overthrow of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. Davutoglu stated that such condemnation from “a friend and ally” was unacceptable. Additionally, Davutoglu said that Prime Minister Erdogan’s comments were misinterpreted.
