TUSIAD has been a member of UNICE (Union of Industrialists and Employers' Confederations of Europe).

UNICE's mission is:
  • To promote the common professional interests of the firms represented by its members;
  • To inform the decision-making process at European level so that policies and legislative proposals which affect business in Europe take account of companies' needs;
  • To represent its members in the dialogue between social partners enshrined in the Treaty on European Union.
TUSIAD is a member of BIAC (Business and Industry Advisory Committee of the OECD).

Since 1962, BIAC has brought together the advice and counsel of the business communities of the member countries of the OECD. BIAC participates in the vital committee work of the representatives of the 30 member governments and the talented pool of research staff managed by the OECD Secretariat. The private sector supports their efforts to combine analytical thinking and business experience to formulate an integrated set of public policy recommendations based on facts and analysis. The policy areas discussed and debated are as basic as trade liberalization and sustainable development and as leading edge as e-commerce taxation and biotechnology. These policy recommendations are purveyed world-wide.

UMCE: TUSIAD is a member of UMCE (Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprise).

In March 2002, the Presidents of the main inter-sectoral business organizations from the twelve Mediterranean countries created Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises (UMCE). The Union was established in the framework of the UNIMED project managed by UNICE and financially supported by the European Commission. UMCE's primary task is to prepare and facilitate the business input towards the establishment of a free trade area in the Mediterranean region by 2010. UMCE is the culmination of the commitment of the business community to the success of the Euro-Med process. The Association aims to be the main interlocutor of the 15 Member States, the EU Institutions and the International Financial Institutions for enhanced dialogue and actions to stimulate the much required trade and investment in the region.

TUSIAD is a member of the Conference Board Europe and occasionally hosts Istanbul meetings of its Councils.

The Conference Board creates and disseminates knowledge about management and the marketplace to help businesses strengthen their performance and better serve society.
Working as a global, independent membership organization in the public interest, The Conference Board conducts research, convenes conferences, makes forecasts, assesses trends, publishes information and analysis, and brings executives together to learn from one another.
The Conference Board is a not-for-profit organization and holds 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status in the United States.
